Domain in Manhattan Proper
Compiled from our records of Jan's first court and later courts this map
describes who is allowed to feed in Manhattan proper, below Harlem. It
is safe to assume that all those granted territory in this area are of
considerable status. All territory that is unshaded belongs to
the prince, Jan Pieterzoon.
The Tremere and Nosferatu were not granted area
on this map. The Tremere were granted all land north of 155th St.
on Manhattan as well as numerous additional lands. The leader
of clan Nosferatu, Stavros, was granted land from Lexington Ave. to
116th St.
Of the vampires here who were granted land on Manhattan many were
granted land elsewhere as well. Jack, Isabella, Angel, von Brauer,
Julia, Oliver, Margot, Melanie, Friedrich, the Tremere, and Stavros
were all granted land in one or more of the other five boroughs.
The ritual Jan followed at court asked for one representative from
each Clan to step forward and claim domain over a large area of
land for himself. Later members of that clan claimed domain
from within the territory
of that initial member. Thus it is a trivial matter of correlation
to track who belongs to which clan. The chart has been color coded
as follows:
Three vampires appearing on this map are of unknown clan. Oliver and
Friedrich were both at the first court, but claimed land for themselves
outside any clan's territory. Angel arrived in the city at the second
court and alwo claimed land outside the boundries of any clan's
territory.
