Report on Available Intelligence Assets Our assets in New York City are extremely limited, due to the forty-two-year occupation of the city by the Sabbat. Unlike the Camarilla before them, they are highly suspicious of the living and extremely violent, often without provocation. They have destroyed a number of our mortal agents. However, it seems they do not have sufficient mystical capacity to detect or destroy our magical watchers, which has allowed us a limited glimpse of their recent activities. Our current assets are as follows: Permanent mystical watch outside the havens of Zizek and Montero This has been in operation for since 1962, three years after the invasion. This has been served to allow us determine who the Sabbat in the city are, at least the influential ones. Permanent mystical watch on the Battery, where the Camarilla leader used to hold court This has not been useful as of late, but with luck it may become quite valuable again. "Pneumatic", a usually reliable mortal informant "Pneumatic" is an independent ghoul who has lived freely in New York since his master was killed in the Sabbat assault. He has made deals with several Sabbat packs, services in exchange for blood. We have been able to supply him with blood at several occasions in exchange for information. Two private detectives who believe they are working on a case of corporate espionage This asset was acquired only a few months ago. The detectives allow us a more in depth study than we can usually conduct, but they are highly likely to break the Masquerade at some point and be killed. "Railroad", an unknown source, loyal to Dr. Thomas Fielding. An informant Dr. Fielding is unwilling to talk about. This is the channel through which we discovered the Camarilla's plans for an assault on New York. Given that most of the Sabbat's activities take place well away from any prying eyes, mortal or otherwise, we have managed to glean a surprising amount of information from this limited set of sources. Of course, the return of the Camarilla means that we will have far more avenues by which to observe their behaviors, as they often interact with mortals and leave them alive to tell the tale. It should take only a few months to arrange for our people to gain positions in the mortal hierarchies that the Camarilla vampires will try to form. Of course, there are also the mystical watches, but we cannot set those up until we know where the Camarilla kindred will lair. Without our usual manpower available, it will take even more time for us to discover this information, as it seems to be something they protect carefully. However, Dr. Julian Grey's recent researches may prove to be the key in gaining true inside intelligence. Perhaps we will be able to watch this great revolution as it happens, not reconstructed from the dropped hints of the vampires after the fact.
