Parchment Found 12.31.00 The outer arc can be translated as, "," as the subjects did, but a better translation might be, "." The inner spokes bear a number of mystical symbols whose meanings are definitely ambiguous. I believe that their significance is limited and that the true meaning lies in the outer inscription and the meaning of the larger symbols. The central inner symbol is unfamiliar to me and does not appear in my tomes of hermetic symbology. Not enough of the right hand symbol is preserved to discern a meaning from it. The left most symbol appears to be an old alchemical symbol, representing mineralia or animalia depending on its orientation.
