Profile -- Angel
Angel is a woman of incredible loveliness, slightly below average height with fine features and a smiling face. She appears slightly older than some of the other beautiful vampires in the city, but she far outshines them despite her years. She has a distinct Mediterranean look about her. Possibly she is of Italian or Spanish decent.
Angel is, without a doubt, an elder. She has hosted the most exclusive party given in the city so far, as well as a number of smaller affairs. None-the-less she has not gone to any meetings of the elders at the Battery, likely because of her stated disdain for politics. As such it might be easy to assume that Angel is a Toreador. This is the most obvious conclusion, but papers of the Arcanum discuss several Ventrue, Brujah, and even a few members of other clans who disdained politics in favor of the social world. Angel is one of the primary dictators of fashion and status in the city, which is certainly a powerful position to hold on its own. She seems to have accumulated a sizable web of neonates serving her, most notably the subjects, Christine Mitchell, and, to a lesser extent, Hannah Williams. She has shown patronage to Gabriela Prieto as well, but it is not known how deep this relationship goes.
Angel is known to have been active in Boston before her move to New York City. There she enjoyed a similar status as in this city. She, with Margot Lavallier of the Toreador, was a major influence on the social world of Boston. The two are known to have feuded in the past and it is unusual that they have both chosen to reside in the same city, especially as they both seemed comfortable in their positions in Boston. Perhaps neither of them wishes to allow her opponent an advantage.
While many socialites snipe and jab with clever word-play at their opponents, Angel does not practice these crude games. She seems to deal openly and in a friendly manner with all, even with the subjects despite their non-existent status. This tactic seems most effective, since her guests are quickly put at ease by her gentle conversation.
Angel has no known allies or enemies in the city, besides Margot. She has spoken several times of being part of a coalition of elders. This is presumably not a coalition behind Jan, given an occasional flippant comment about him in the past, but she has not shown particular favor to any other elder either.
