Profile -- Julia d'Anjou
Julia is a slight woman, exceedingly short and rather slender. She has very dark features, almost Semitic in appearance, but surely a woman of her character did not spring from such base roots. She has the appearance of a woman of perhaps 25, but given what I believe her age to be I would be surprised if she were embraced after her twentieth birthday.
Examining her surname it seems clear she is of French origin, naturally from Anjou. There are four families of note that took on that appellation. Two of them were merchants, one got their start as bankers, and one was a noble family in the region. As Angel did not grace her with a title at her party I would suppose that Julia is of common origins from one of the former three families.
In speaking with the subjects she has dropped hints that she is of great age. She has implied that she joined vampiric society before the Camarilla, or at least that she has the acquaintance of several who claim such age. Combined with her supernatural prowess and status in the city it is safe to assume that she is quite old.
Aside from the expected abilities, she has demonstrated knowledge of the Gangrel secrets of shifting the body. I had thought such powers were never taught to outsiders. She certainly has not shown any special rapport with the Gangrel of the city, but I imagine she must be considered a great friend of the clan, or at least of some powerful individual within it, if they have shared such things with her.
Thomas's source has revealed that Julia has some small influence in the workings of the larger Camarilla as well. She is known as a strong supporter of that body, rare among her blood, and this gives her some say in Camarilla matters. She is known as a brave warrior and an eloquent speaker in favor of the Camarilla.
She is, by far, the Brujah of greatest status in the city, serving as Jan's sheriff. She seems to take on a protective attitude towards the younger Brujah in the city and it may be that she is counted as one of the primogen. Certainly she has status as an elder, as she has attended several meetings of the other elders in the city at the Battery.
Julia, like all of her blood, has a quick temper. She has never been observed attacking anyone, but has stated her opinions quite clearly in a most vocal fashion on several occasions. One of these was even at court, a disagreement with Anastasia of the Nosferatu. It is likely that her blood, and the views most vampires hold about it, allowed her to make such an outburst with less loss of status than might befall another vampire of her station.
