The B. of O. is securely entrenched within the DWP. The transfer was no more difficult than usual. Still the same dull-witted city employees we find everywhere we go. They were so elated by the possibility of additional funding that they didn't even question the cover story far enough to read the transfer papers. If creatures of the night do have a stranglehold on this city they certainly haven't done much to secure it.
We'll begin by investigating the names and leads you sent. Set up the usual audio relays and wire-taps. Then we'll start patching in relays to the various video surveillance devices throughout the city and install our own where we feel they can be safely ensconced. From there we'll fan out. Background checks and Surveillance Ops on all parties your leads interact with. Find out who's who and what's what.
I've ordered the team to remain "observation only" on all parties. No interactions whatsoever. We know these things can manipulate human minds and emotions so I don't want to take any chances. I should have more info to report to you in the next couple of months.
