What serendipity! They appear to have stumbled across not one but two items of mystic significance. The first is a simple scrap of paper bearing a number of Hebrew characters inscribing an arc of a circle. Inside are spokes of Greek and other characters dividing the circle into perhaps sixths or sevenths (the circle is less than one third complete, so I cannot tell more). Within these wedges are larger, circular symbols of what I believe to be hermetic origin. Examining the literature these seem to match symbols used by ancient cults of Janus.

The second item seems to be of semitic origin, as it has several prayers inscribed upon it. It seems to be a small pouch containing a number of scrolls that are rolled and sealed with wax. It radiates a moderately strong mystical aura with connections to the techniques of Somes and Vim and the form of Genero, though I do not belive that the creator had any knowledge of True Magic.

The question is, of course, whether these are inherently vampiric in nature, drawing their energy from the same force that drives the mystical abilities of the Kindred, or whether they are some form of hedge magic. If only I could get my hands on the artifacts! I am certain the subjects are incompetent to examine them properly, and there is only so much I can explore at a distance. I will ask Elizabeth to investigate the possibility of obtaining the items. They should be put in the proper hands.
