Diary: 11.03.2000 I have not had a chance to write in so long. Preparations are almost complete. Fortunately, Thomas is sending one of the girls with me to help with the mundane tasks of settling in. She may also be of some use in my magical research -- I believe she has been with us for ninety years or so, so she ought to be marginally competent.
