Diary: 11.09.2000
Things seem almost settled here. The space the girls found for me is adequate, if barely.
I wish I could be closer to the Public Library and its stock of rare tomes.
My personal library has made the trip well, though two of my
books were scuffed in the passage. I must speak sharply to the girls about that.
On a more exciting note, my first inquiries into the Catskills facility have yielded fruit.
I believe that Elizabeth has compiled a report on it. At least sixty individuals reside
within the camp, including three of the undead. I must put Elizabeth to some good use, so
perhaps she can discover their identities.
Ordinarily I would be most interested to pursue
such a task myself, but it seems the Hoffman-Bertelluci method of divination is finally
being proved useful. The stones have identified eleven individuals -- all still mortal --
who have the sigil of the vampire firmly about them. Perhaps I can establish contact with
them before they are taken by the night.
