Diary: 12.14.2000
Well, they seem to have survived. I am impressed with their luck. After escaping the warrens they fought a brief battle with some Sabbat thugs in the Harlem Salvation Army. The Sabbat have, it seems, begun recruiting soldiers of their own. They have also obtained the sort of weapons the Camarilla shies from for fear of reveling themselves to humans. As if we didn't already know. The subject eventually found their way to safety, for which I must say I am grateful.
My watch on Radu's haven reveled a second assault on him yesterday evening. This one lead by Jan and Dimitrios. Unfortunately, I was not able to observe the battle as I was four evenings ago. Jan and Dimitrios survived, as did Dimitrios's companions. I do not know if Radu still lives.
Fernanda Monterra did not return to her haven last night. I am uncertain of her fate.
The frustration of seeing through such heavy curtains is immense. In my youth I would have simply ventured out to the streets to observe thing first hand. I'm sure that Reginald would do just that were he here. I must remind myself, I am observing more than any have since… since perhaps even the days of Dr. Everet Cooper. I feel a bit giddy, but I do believe that the strides I have made will one day be set net to his observations of the Lupines. My view is limited by my puerile subjects. But I must not take the short view. Through them I can view the truly powerful.
