Diary: 12.30.2000
The subjects made a foray to their feeding grounds and behaved
supremely incompetently. Do they believe that they are no longer
responsible for their actions? Ah well, I doubt they will be killed
for their idiocy, at least not until they have enemies willing to
capitalize on their mistakes.
Thomas's contact has been able to furnish me an audio recording of
Jan's declaration that he would take back the city. Most interesting.
The significance of his name change seemed to be lost on the majority
of the audience, as such trite sentimentalism so often is. Perhaps
unsurprisingly, his announcement regarding siring rights met
with a bit more acclaim. Given MacMillan's essays on the Camarilla's
philosophy I'm surprised Jan was able to offer so much, but perhaps
the old man got a thing or two wrong.
