Carpe Noctem is a site for Vampire: the Masquerade. We are a New York Camarilla tabletop group with a major web component to the game. If you aren't sure what role-playing is, check out this explanation of role-playing games (RPGs) and the controversies surounding them. This is not a Dungeons and Dragons game, but a Vampire: the Masquerade game, so try the publisher's description of the game. Finally, here are five reasons you should let your kids play D&D (and other RPGs).

If you know what role-playing and Vampire: the Masquerade are then take a look at our introduction to the game and guide to the site.

You can participate in the game! We have message boards on VoyForums. Visit them for IC or OOC chat. If you are a PC, please only post using your own character. If you are not a PC, pick a character from the NPC page & feel free to improvise! We'd love to see some free-form talk happen on the boards. The storytellers reserve the right to delete any posts that contradict our plot or characters.

We offer 10-meg web-based noctMail to our players and anyone else who is interested. Mail Jessica at storyteller@noct.net with your desired username. Use www.doteasy.com to access your mail. We also offer web space for any game-related pages. Please contact Jessica at storyteller@noct.net for details.

The group meets at Jessica's apartment every Thursday night, 6-11 PM. If you are interested in joining, please contact both storytellers: Jessica at storyteller@noct.net and Chris at julian@noct.net.
