Cathedral
12.03.01 Mini-update. We are now hosting Threnody's Avatar Page. I also fixed some (ok, alot of) spelling errors on the home page. Finally, I fixed some errors with the new Dossiers. Don't be shy about telling me I've made a mistake, e-mail me!
12.02.01 A very big update this week. First off, the Character Dossiers have finally been updated again. The old program to create them was broken, and it was easier to just re-write it rather than debugging. It was ugly code. I added links to the Dossier alphabetically next to the active one as well, so cruising though them is a lot easier. Jess has spiffed them up with many more pictures (Angel! Julia! Karen Avery!) and I've added a bunch of new activities. So check them out! Equally great are new window pictures by Rob! He has done another pair of windows, as well as an amazing rendition of the rose window over the main entrance to the Cathedral.
11.18.01 Ok, so we skipped a week. I was actually working all last weekend on this. Hey, its 1% back, and its free. Anyway, Rob left a note lying around and its seems that Elizabeth found it. Rob also gave us a taste of his crazy 3D model of the cathedral. I also wrote a story about what Alice did immediately after yesterdays session. Finnally, there have been some big changes on Dark Emeralds.
11.05.01 Its our annual Guy Fawkes day update! Jessica has gone above and beyond again with two new session logs! Also our former player turned ST has put up the webpage for his game. Go Matt!
10.28.01 I finally sat down and detailed the players new feeding grounds. The income data is inference, not factual (I wasn't able to find any sources as detailed as I would have liked). The map probably also shows income desparities that are greater than in the real world, but that's the way it is in the World of Darkness. Jessica has also written up two more session logs, the last log of story arc five and the first of story arc six. These logs also feature photos of relevant locations, something we will be trying to keep up for all new session logs. Also, the Malkavian powers have finally gotten up as well. I'm also glad to announce that Matt started his Seattle game this week. His game is set in the same universe as ours, in Seatle about 8 years ago. He has lots of material written up and ready to go online, but is so far only allowing Jessica and I a peak or two.
10.22.01 We've got another session log up, which is always good news. Also I've stuck up a comple of resources for others to understand the game. One is a brief introduction to the game, the other is a directory of the indepth resources avalible. We are getting a number of people to play NPCs on the forums and have been getting lots of traffic from the Sanguinus forums so these sort of resources are needed. If you are interested in taking over an NPC or two please give us an e-mail.
10.21.01 Due to being stuck in trafic for 3 hours the site update will be delayed until tomorrow. Sorry!
10.14.01 Its another "cool pictures from Rob" week. Always a favorite. New images for the second set of windows have been added to the Cathedral page as well as the windows page. Also there is a new feeding map up, detailing the new grounds in Manhattan. I still haven't been able to find a good map of Long Island City so there is no map of the PC's feeding grounds avalible. Finally we have finally put up a CDs page for our NPC themed CDs. -- Last minute addition, a story by Richard about Tyler's experiences feeding.
10.7.01 This week I've compiled vastly expanded Field Report for the Cathedral replacing what was there before. Who says I never write anything for the site. I also put one of Anthony's Parker stories up, I swear it was up for a while and then came down, not sure why. Jessica is very close to done with the Malkavian combo powers we came up with, the link is broken now, but will be up soon. Finally, check out the Sanguinus Forums for an intellegent discussion of Vampire. To the players: don't forget that there is a month of downtime to cover, send us your plans!
9.30.01 Lots of cool stuff this week. Definately the best are Rob's amazing cathedral windows. These are the first set windows nearest to the main door. Wow. Next week I will add a "Field Report" about the cathedral collecting all the info known in game about it. Another piece of "art" is Jessica's picture of Hannah using the Hero Machine. Jessica also kicked some ass and added a bunch of new quotes! Lets be honest, that is the only reason people visit the site. Also we have added l33t combo powerz for the Toreador and the Gangrel. Finally, the two of us came up with something involving Alan Greenspan. Don't ask.
9.23.01 Lets see, only OOC updates tonight, but there are some good ones. First off, Rob has made a collage type picture of Cliff. We also have an all new Kewl Powerz page. Some of the material there has been e-mailed out before, but not everyone has seen it. Finally, another installment in the story Chris is writting. The news Julia has brought from New York finds its way to the Justicar Lucinde. Yes, those stories are just our excuse to talk about hideously powerful elders.
9.16.01 With the recent tragedy in New York we don't really feel
like working on the game. Please visit Helping.org
to see what you can do. There was a redesign of the OOC pages earlier this week and
today I added some "about gaming" type resources to the info page.
9.8.01 Back from vacation with a massive new update! Five new
Activity Logs (we're still behind, but less
so); a new front page design (much nicer,
if I do say so myself); and a bunch of player-generated pages. Plus we
finally put up those damn dossiers!
7.15.01 I still hate computers. In other news, here first, before
Sanguinus Curae gets it, we have
the latest Gender and Clan articles. Read Camarilla
before you read the Independents and the
Sabbat. Also, there is a new Activity
Log.
7.8.01 ARGH. I hate computers. Well, there are some technical
dificulties with the new dossiers.
Jess has written a bunch, including such favorites as Mara and Brick.
(Remember Brick? We do.) But I've failed to put them up. I did manage
to put up a session log, again
written by Jess. Just so you guys don't get the idea that Jess writes
all this stuff and I just put it up, I wrote a short work of fiction about
Julia, everyone's favorite NPC (besides
Pitt). Oh yea, you may notice that the fiction I write gets pictures while
the fiction that other people write doesn't. That's 'cause I supply my
own pictures. And I'm better than everybody else. That too.
7.3.01 Well -- no update today. Damn those scheming DC Sabbat! (We were
in DC this weekend.) We do have some dossiers
to put up -- they will go up tomorrow. Right now we have a picture of
Hannah found by Matt.
6.24.01 When will the madness end? Anthony is certainly prolific. Check out
Anthony's essay on Vampiric Nature.
I guess every other V:tM site has one, so we needed one. Also Parker
has been having some fun. Some very bad naughty fun.
6.17.01 The ground shaking policy decision continues, for its
second bold week in a row!! Check out the Quotes
and the all new Best Quotes. Also the PCs
page has been rationalized and (sadly) modified. Isaac will be thrilled
that I have finally put up a small fraction of the stuff he has done for
us: Floor Plan for the Clinic.
6.10.01 A ground-shaking policy decision. Updates on noct.net
will no longer be subject to the whims of the STs, but will happen every
Sunday! That's right, every Sunday you can just check this page and see
what new stuff is up. Today we have some dossiers
(of PCs specifically), a session
log, info on how to get to the Cathedral,
an update to the PC page, and some info on the
CDs that we made the players.
5.15.01 Articles! Well, one article, but we're hoping to start a trend. Get
it here. All rights reserved by Jessica.
1.1.01 Images are slowly filtering into the Case Files. We are
trying to change them sufficiently to comply with Fair Use standards.
If you disagree, and would like us to take an image down, just mail webmaster@noct.net
with details of which picture offends.
