Thank you're for you letter Thomas. I appreciate your confidence and trust.
I suggest you allow Julian to continue his work. It is a simple enough matter for me to relay it on to yourself and the Arcanum. When the time comes Julian can be disposed of and a new researcher can be sent to me who may be more pliable. But things are changing too quickly now. Much information would be lost in the transition.
The Pieterzoon matter is a good example of this. It would have been a tragedy had we not been observing when he disappeared. Unfortunately, Julian's observations confirm what your sources have told you. Pieterzoon was spirited away by Faida. Her concealement was too thick for our abilities to penetrate. Consequently I fear there is little I can do to aide you in finding him as we could not see where he was taken after he and Faida left the Battery. On the off chance he is still in the city I am begining a ritual of detection. There is no harm in trying I suppose.
I came across this a short time ago. Is this "RM" one of ours?
Carpe Noctem is dead, long live Carpe Noctem. We brought the game to a successful conclusion
in August of 2002. If you are interested in our other projects please see
